How long does ceramic coating last?
Depending on the package: our 1-year (SB3 Vortex), 3-year (SB3 Thirty3), and 5-year (SB3 Alpha+) options each provide durable protection for their rated period with proper maintenance. A 7-year option (Trinity Select) is available on request.
What does ceramic coating actually do?
It chemically bonds to your paint to create a hard, hydrophobic layer. Water beads and sheets off, contaminants don't bond as easily, washing is far easier, and your paint is protected from UV fading and light marring.
Do you do paint correction before coating?
Yes — always. A coating locks in whatever is underneath, so we perform paint correction first to remove swirls, oxidation, and water spots. Otherwise you'd be sealing in imperfections.
Where is the coating applied?
In our climate-controlled facility in Marlboro. Temperature, humidity, and lighting are controlled for a flawless bond and cure — this is not done outdoors or in a driveway.
How do I maintain a coated vehicle?
Wash regularly with a pH-neutral shampoo, avoid automatic brush car washes, and we'll walk you through simple maintenance. Membership maintenance plans are available.
Can you coat a brand-new car?
Absolutely — a new car is the ideal time. We still do a light decontamination and prep, then apply the coating so your paint is protected from day one.
